FY 2021 Review

It has been a busy year at Occupy Medical, with a lot of changes and some new opportunities. Here are just a few of the things that have happened in 2020 and the first half of 2021:

1. We entered into a partnership with OHA to support Black Thistle Street Aid and their mission.

2. We entered into a contract with Lane County to operate the River Avenue Alternative Care Site for unhoused COVID patients, which closed its doors in June after the contract expired.

3. For most of 2020 and 2021 we continued to operate the Centennial clinic and saw between 5 and 20 patients per week.

4. We left the Centennial location forever on July 31. This was a bittersweet decision that has been made in order to ensure the longevity of Occupy Medical as an organization.

5. A new, small-scale medical clinic has been started at Ebbert United Methodist Church in Springfield (Saturdays 2-5pm).

The FY2020 tax returns were prepared by Kernutt Stokes, and are available in the Documents section of this website. FY2020 and FY2021 financial reports and tax returns are being finalized and are expected to be filed on time.
